Fee Information
The out-of-pocket expense for a standard consultation is $40 Monday to Friday. For children under 16 and concession card holders there is no out of pocket expense. Concession card holders must present a valid card for concession billing purposes. Please bring your card with you to each appointment. Due to higher costs, concessions and reduced fees are not available on Saturdays.
Telehealth services are billed at the same fee as face-to-face consultations due to the time it takes to provide the appropriate clinical care. Under Medicare rules, telehealth services can only be undertaken if you have had a face-to-face appointment in the surgery in the last 12 months or have Covid.
If you are facing financial difficulty, please discuss this with your doctor. If you are bulk billed (no gap) for a service you may not necessarily be bulk billed for subsequent services provided by the same or another doctor. Fee discounts are at the discretion of individual doctors.
Fee discounts and concessions are not available to Visitors.
A higher fee will apply for minor procedures including mirenas, implanons, iron infusion, venesections, biopsies and skin lesion removals. Your doctor will discuss this fee with you.
Full payment of your account is appreciated at the time of consultation. EFTPOS, and all major credit cards are accepted.
Accounts are transmitted directly to Medicare – if your bank details are registered with Medicare and the account is paid in full, your Medicare rebate can be reimbursed immediately back into your bank account.
Or we use the Tyro system where the benefit can be placed straight back into your bank account using a debit card (not credit card).

Please Note:
- There is an out-of-pocket expense for everyone on Saturdays, including concession/pension card holders and children under 16 (DVA Gold excluded)
- Senior Card Holders are not eligible for concession rates.
- Fee discounts and concessions are not available to visitors

Please bring you Medicare card and any relevant concession cards to your appointment.
Additional fees apply for:
- Surgical and therapeutic procedures
- Non-attendance at all booked consultations
- Travel medicine
- Pre-employment and heavy vehicle licence medicals
- Workers compensation and MVA consultations
- Insurance medicals
Please inform us at least two hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other patients who may have a need for our care.
If you are a new work cover patient; please inform the Receptionist at the time of making the appointment and bring your employer’s contact details for verification. Payment in full is expected on the day for patients without a current Workcover claim number. The worker may, if they choose, seek compensation for these charges by lodging a claim.

From time to time you may be referred to outside agencies for tests, investigations or a specialist opinion. Please note that you are responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred as part of this referral. It is advisable to contact the external provider to find out their fee policy prior to your appointment.
